What is SherlockTrainer?
SherlockTrainer is a practice tool for the "Sherlock" card effect by Pit Hartling, published in his book In Order To Amaze (2016). It lets you drill the effect with a realistically shuffled deck.
Do I need the book to use this app?
Yes. SherlockTrainer is a training aid for magicians who already own In Order To Amaze by Pit Hartling and are familiar with the Mnemonica stack by Juan Tamariz. The app does not teach the effect.
What do the "Looking For" and "Stack Numbers" toggles do?
These are training aids you can enable on the home screen. "Looking For" displays the current target card during each pass. "Stack Numbers" overlays the Mnemonica position number on each card. Turn them off as you get faster to simulate performance conditions.
Does the app collect any personal data?
